“ill pass del tempo- The Passage of Time”
As we all know, art is subjective.
If ten people were asked to select their twenty favourite photographs from Roberto Corinaldesi’s extensive portfolio, the results would undoubtedly be very different. This edit is not meant to be definitive. It is simply a reading of Roberto's body of work through one set of eyes.
The beauty of Roberto Corinaldesi's work is that he has not one recognizable style but moves with ease among many visual worlds. His gift is not consistency of style but of emotional range.
His photography moves between fashion, documentary, religious iconography, street photography, memory, nostalgia and cinematic staging.
He has mastered many photographic genres with great style, drama and originality
PORTRAITS
“Unicum”
“We will change it”
“Country Boy”
“Branches”
STREET
“While Coloring…”
“Solidity and Instability”
“The Mirror of Silence”
“Elio- The Geography of a Mind”
Some of Corinaldesi’s photographs seem suspended outside time. Their yellowed surfaces, faded tonalities and ambiguous origins create the feeling of recovered memory rather than straightforward documentation.
VINTAGE
“Post War Italy”
“Ascension-1950, Italy”
“Us, elsewhere…..”
SCAPES
“Lookout”
“Waiting for PEACE”
“MilesAhead”
Since 2017, Roberto has accumulated more photography awards than there is space to list. His dedication to the craft is remarkable. Many of his photographs have the look and feel of major theatrical productions—carefully conceived, meticulously styled, and executed with extraordinary attention to detail.
Yet his work is not defined by a single approach. Alongside these highly constructed images are spontaneous street scenes, authentic moments frozen with impeccable timing and instinct. Whether working in portraiture, conceptual photography, street photography, or other genres, Roberto brings the same level of commitment and creative energy.
There is an urgency to his need to create. He moves effortlessly between disciplines, continually producing images that are technically accomplished, visually engaging, and unmistakably his own. He just keeps creating memorable and award-winning images that, to the viewer, are compelling, provocative and lasting.
ROBERTO: OUT OF THE BOX
“Ligabue”
“VitalSap”
“The Last Emperor - The constraint”
“is brebus”
“Begen’s Rhythm”
“Black Work”
Roberto, going through your portfolio to select 20 favorites was impossible. I am exhausted.
Thank you for being a part of the 1x community. You bring so much to it.

| Roberto Corinaldesi PRO "I am deeply honored by this article. The diversity of my work is not a stylistic coincidence, but stems from a visceral need to communicate the many, often contradictory, facets that touch the human experience within each and every one of us.
I refuse to confine myself to a single genre; every piece is born from a powerful emotional impulse that originates from vastly different contexts. I allow myself to be guided by the abstract, geometric rhythms of music, the narrative power of cinema, the silent poetry of the streets, or the intimacy of a religious devotion. Whether capturing the hidden symmetry of nature or a fleeting fragment of daily urban life, my pursuit is always to make time stand still.
Ultimately, communicating through imagery is my ultimate goal: to transform an invisible, internal impulse into a visual frequency that speaks to the viewer, creating a bridge between my world and theirs." - Roberto Corinaldesi |
